The National Model Railroad Association is the largest organization devoted to the development, promotion, and enjoyment of the hobby of model railroading. The NMRA was founded in 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, making this our 74th year in service to the hobby of model railroading! Presenttly the NMRA headquarters is in Chattnooga, TN. |

The SER provides services to the members of the NMRA residing in the area defined by Article VII of the NMRA regulations, which roughly is western area of North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, most of South Carolina, and a portion of the panhandle of Florida. The region is divided into 15 Divisions, which are defined by NMRA regulation VII, and the SER leadership. The local division in western North Carolina is Land O'Sky, Division 15, SER, NMRA. |
